Yes, it happened: The kids are done school so … now what do you do with them?!
We’ve got you. Join us for Community Swim this Friday, June 17th, from 4-5:30pm at our Center City pool.
Our Community Swim events are open to one and all. This is a time for families to relax, have fun, enjoy the pool — and most importantly, get those no-more-school-stir-crazies out.
Want to double up the fun? We’ve got a South Philly Community Swim coming up next week. Woo!

Outdoor Lessons at Creekside (And Day Passes, Too!)
Y’all were PSYCHED when we told you about our outdoor lessons this July and August at Creekside in Wallingford, Delaware County. But ooooh, guess what? It’s getting even better: Fitness Alive swimmers are welcome to purchase day passes at Creekside so that you can stay and swim after your lesson! Creekside opens for general swim noon, so if your lesson time is before noon, you can hang out on the grounds or leave and come back. How’s that for a mini stay-cation?

POOL Exhibit @ Fairmount Water Works
With Juneteenth approaching this weekend, we as a company are taking time to reflect on our nation’s history of race and segregation in public pools and swimming, and its impact today. As a staff, we are planning an upcoming team outing to the POOL exhibition at the Fairmount Water Works, but we wanted to provide details about the exhibit to you, our community, so you can check it out, too:
About: "POOL: A Social History of Segregation" is a 4,700 square-foot museum exhibition set in the Fairmount Water Works. POOL helps to illuminate a history of segregated swimming in America and its connection to present-day drowning issues affecting Black communities. Weaving together history, art, storytelling, scholarship and place-based learning, this multi-disciplinary work explores the role of public pools in our communities, with the goal of deepening understanding of the connection between water, social justice and public health.
