FITNESS ALIVE & OUTDOOR AFRO SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Fitness Alive is pleased to partner with Outdoor Afro to provide limited scholarships for Adult Swim Classes.

Scholarship recipients may be awarded 1 scholarship per calendar year to pay for a six-week group class. At this time, scholarships cannot be used for other Fitness Alive services.

Please follow the steps below to apply for a scholarship.

Step 1: Check Your Availability

Before applying for a scholarship, please check your calendar to ensure you are able to attend one of our upcoming scholarship class cycles. They will be held on Thursdays from 6-7pm at our Center City pool location (1425 Arch Street) on the following dates:

• Cycle 1: September 10 - October 15, 2026
• Cycle 2: October 22 - December 3, 2026 (skips Thanksgiving on 11/26)

If none of the upcoming classes work with your schedule, please do not apply for a scholarship at this time. We add new classes at the beginning of each season (in January for Spring, in May for Summer, and in September for Fall) so you can check back then for more class options.

Step 3: Request Your Class

Online self-booking is not currently available for those using scholarship funds. Instead, we will need to book for you.

Only complete the form below AFTER applying for the scholarship above. Our scholarship coordinator will receive your form submission and will reach out to you with any further questions for booking.

Please note: Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from our scholarship coordinator.
