Spring 2025 swim session
Fitness Alive’s Spring Swim Session will run from January 8 - May 20, 2025. There will be no weekly lessons or classes during Fitness Alive’s Spring Break, April 14-20.
Services offered as part of Spring Session include private and semiprivate lessons, kids Swim Skills classes, and kids pre-swim team Narwhals classes. These services are booked as weekly recurring enrollments for the full 18-week term. A deposit is collected at booking, then payment is made as monthly tuition for enrolled swimmers.

+ Session Dates + Services
We have three swim sessions per year:
- Fall (September-December)
- Spring (January-May)
- Summer (June-August)
Services available Spring Session booking (weekly, recurring) include the following:
- Private (1:1) and Semiprivate (2:1) lessons for kids and adults
- Kids Swim Skills classes
- Kids Pre-competitive Narwhals classes
Adult Instructional Swim Classes and Baby Bubbles Classes will continue to schedule on a drop-in basis. This means you book these classes one by one.
+ How Enrollment Works
In Fall and Spring, swim services are booked on a recurring weekly basis and paid with monthly tuition. This guarantees your swim time each and every week with the same instructor. Tuition is billed via Autopay to your credit card on file.
In Summer, to provide more flexibility for our clients, all lessons and classes are drop-in and self-booking.
At the end of each lesson term, you will need to re-enroll for the next session to continue your swim lessons. Currently enrolled clients get first priority booking for subsequent sessions.
If you are unable to commit to a full swim term, please check out our Drop-in Swim Lessons, which you can book when it is convenient for you.
+ Pricing + Tuition
- Private (1:1) lessons: $60 per 30-minute lesson
- Semiprivate (2:1) lessons: $50 per swimmer per 30-minute lessons
- Kids Swim Skills group classes (3:1): $40 per swimmer per 30-minute class
- Narwhals Silver: $40 per 30-minute class
- Narwhals Gold: $55 per 60-minute class
A nonrefundable deposit equivalent to the fee listed above is collected at booking; it pays for your first lesson or class. Then, the above per-lesson price is factored out into a monthly tuition rate based on the number of weeks in a given session. You will pay this monthly fee via auto-debit to the credit card on file on the 1st of each month of the session.
For more details, including specific monthly tuition rates for Spring 2025, see our Spring Session FAQ.
+ Cancellation + Sick Policies
Fitness Alive has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be through the Fitness Alive Portal.
- Early cancellation with at least 24 hours notice - Eligible for a make-up.
- Late cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, and no-shows - Not eligible for a make-up.
If you are in a semiprivate swim lesson — 2 swimmers, 1 instructor — please note this ADDITIONAL CANCELLATION/MAKE-UP POLICY:
Early Cancellations for Semiprivates:
If one partner in a semiprivate early-cancels a lesson, the entire lesson will be early-canceled for both partners. This means the second partner will not be able to keep the lesson time as a private on the date that was canceled by their partner.
Semiprivate make-ups resulting from early cancellations must be completed with both partners. If you plan to take a lesson with a friend, you will need to coordinate a make-up time with that friend. Separate private make-ups will not be allowed for semiprivate swimmers
Late Cancellations for Semiprivates:
If a semiprivate partner late cancels or no-shows, this is considered a “charged” lesson so the semiprivate partner who did not cancel can keep their normal lesson time and swim on their own.
Sick Policy: If you are sick, stay home! Visibly ill clients will be asked to leave at Fitness Alive's discretion and your appointment will be considered a late cancellation (not eligible for makeup).
