We LOVE our adult swimmers!
And we love hearing from you. This fall we asked you to tell us how we’re doing with our Adult Swim Classes. Your feedback was invaluable!
As a result of your input, we’re excited to revamp our class roster beginning in January. Here are the changes you should know about:
New Class Levels and Descriptions
Adult 0, Adult 1, etc., is a thing of the past. We’ve reworked our classes to tailor them better to your needs. Here’s a peek at our new classes:
Foundations of Water Confidence:
This small-group class is for adults with little to no prior pool experience, or those who feel anxious or uncertain in aquatic environments.
Essential Water Skills + Safety:
This class is designed for adults who feel comfortable getting in the water and are ready to develop the core skills every swimmer needs.
Fundamentals of Stroke Mechanics:
This class is for adults who have established basic water skills and are ready to learn the building blocks of efficient swimming.
Drop-in or Intensive — You Choose
Some of you expressed interest in an “intensive” style class, where you could book an entire class block at once on the same day and time, and with the same instructor and classmates, in one fell swoop. So … we made ‘em!
In January, you’ll see the classes above offered as Drop-ins (meaning, you book them one at a time) and Intensives (four classes booked at once). Drop-in classes will stay at 30 minutes in length, while Intensives will run for 60-minutes — another thing you asked for, longer classes!
We can’t wait for you to try out our new and improved classes. Click below to read fuller class descriptions, see dates and book.
